Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi
FOUNDING THE NU CHAPTER
Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi began on the UC Santa Barbara Campus in October 2009, when 14 women met to form the Jewish Sorority Interest Group. After electing an executive board and holding several events, the interest group became an official colony of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi National Sorority. After nearly a year of hard work and growth, we were granted the chartering of the Nu Chapter at UCSB. We were installed as an official chapter on January 22nd, 2011.
Since then, the Nu Chapter has been busy establishing ourselves on the UCSB campus and making a strong name for ourselves. We strive to promote unity, support Jewish awareness, as well as to provide a Jewish experience for ourselves, our members, and the community as a whole.
